The list of fabulous appearances of Iris van Herpen's silhouettes on red carpets, since this autumn, continues to grow. After the model Léomie Anderson, at the MTV MEA's, early this month, in Seville (read more in this Boudoir Numérique paper here) or the Game of Thrones actress Gwendoline Christie, in London, early October (read more there), it was the time for the American actress Storm Reid to light up the 2019 People's Choice Awards ceremony, a few days ago, in Santa Monica, in the “Galactic Glitch” dress from the Dutch designer’s Shift Soul collection. The styling of the outfit was signed by Jason Bolden, American celebrity stylist, star of the Netflix documentary “Styling Hollywood”, released last August.

The American singer Kelly Rowland also chose an Iris van Herpen’s silhouette, from the Hypnosis collection, unveiled in Paris, on July 1 (read the Boudoir Numérique runway show review here). Iris van Herpen is well known for her knowledge of traditional know-how, combined with the use of new technologies, such as 3D printing or laser cutting, as well as her collaborations with biologists, architects and scientists. The “Hypnosis” dress worn by Kelly Rowland is made by laser cutting, a manufacturing process to cut the material by means of a laser.
